Narcoleptic Squirrel

We had this wild gray squirrel in our back yard that I could never get on film that kept passing out. I finally left the video camera on the kitchen counter on a regular basis trying to catch it on film. Over a? few months of filming I was able to get two minutes on film. The amazing thing here is that it lived in 80 foot tall trees and we saw it for a period of six months. Brought to you by Powerful Web Centers; we design a website for you that is unique on the web. @1234gimmeascream What if I see a farmer and get scared. Can I shoot it then? Cuz… I want.

its probably drunk…

not so nimbly bimbly

@1234gimmeascream True for the most part, but coyote well, most times there fine and would not bother u. but around here, there worse then a wolf. they actualy go up close and personal. not for lack of food but i think its more for the land, as if we are the ones in there spac,e yet they are a pest here and not native but were introduced. anyway, the wolf as i know it from personal experiance, is very dangerus. pardon my spelling and thanks for your reply, :) cheers have a good one.

@rescul2418 hey, don’t think i’m not informed abou wolves. I am very interested and spent lots of time with a friend of mine who’s a professional expert on the subject. I know how a wolf differes from a dog - but our ancestors who first started interacting with wolves to hunt, they didn’t get killed, did they? The problem about people getting killed by wild dogs/coyotes/wolves is that peole don’t know how to act around them. Bcs if you know what to do, if you speak their language, your ok.

that poor squirrel will live as long as the foods given to him. on hsi own, he would not live.

@1234gimmeascream HI. just some info on the wolf. we have many of them and they will kill people and as for children, there just as likely to be killed. coyote are also here wher ei live but are not native to the area so they are free to kill with no limite. u actually get paid 25 dallors for every coyote u kill. but as for the wolf. there nothing like dogs. dogs are basicaly another animal alltogether now. never think a wolf wont kill you. i know first hand that they will hunt and kill people.

surprise trust fall!

Fuckin with them drugs man. Heroin is not cool.

awww. He’s special.

hahahahhaahhaa

i feel bad for it

God I feel so horrible watching this video. At first it seems comical but then I felt terrible… Poor little guy

@Triberius yes, around where I usually go to in the holydays they have reintroduced wolfs to control the deers as well, but the farmers are afraid of them and shoot them down when they see one, they cannot believe that basically their dog behaves like a wolf which is used to humans. People should get informed about it, some think all wolfs are like in little red riding hood and will eat children.

@1234gimmeascream

I know out where I live they have been trying to re-introduce a few types of predators, mainly Coyote. One of the big reasons was to help control the deer population since Coyote will hunt down and kill fawns. It just goes to show that outside of cities there is a lot we can do to help restore the natural balance, if we take the time to do so.

@Triberius maah, didn’t think of that… but damn, this shows how much we interfere with natural proceedings! even though i’m happy for that squirrel if it lives is an urban area :)

@1234gimmeascream Depends on where the posters live. If there isn’t much in the way of natural predators there then the Squirrel is fine, well as fine as can be. Most suburban and urban areas where you still have lots of squirrels often don’t have many real predators left except for the occasional raptor. Odds are this squirrel will get to live out a full life if he’s made it this far.

how can that squirrel have survived that long in nature without being eaten…? If a predator is after him, the narcoplepsy won’t really let the squirrel get very far…

its common that they eat rotting fruits and such. he could be just drunk off his ass

that poor thingy..

its not narco it drunk from eating rotten fruit.if you believe check out the “drunk squirrel” on utube. they get like that when they have been eating fermented fruit….. good vid any way battlekites keep them going, thanks 4 posting : )

@battlekites This is the cutest video I have ever seen! XD

Hey, if this squirrel still visits you; give him something with calcium; he might have a certain bone disease…

Oh …emotions can bring on an attack…YEP EVEN SEX…(which is a bummer but can be exciting)….the squirrel could have got so excited about the food which caused an attack….I got excitied over seeing Niagara Falls, I fell briefly…laughter normally does it for most, but for me, alot of thing does it

Cataplexy only happens in Narcolepsy…I may lose use of a limb, my speech may slur,I dont always fall to the ground but I have…I may drop things, or just have weakness, our brain sends us unto rem sleep, although we are awake..THUS IS WHY THE SQUIRREL’S EYES ARE OPEN, when normal people sleep, you lose muscle tone and have paralysis so you dont act out dreams, IMAGINE THE PLEASURE OF DOING THIS WHILE AWAKE, WALKING SWIMMING, DRIVING ECT..I DID IT RIDING MY BIKE.
